My teaching method
- Get to know us! Introduction: discussion / call beforehand to get to know each other, define your expectations, your objectives, the frequency of lessons...
- Before each lesson: short discussion with the student to prepare the session based on what they want to work on.
- Course of the lesson: serious work for 1 to 2 hours: lessons on a strategic or tactical theme followed by exercises to check that the student has mastered the theme, study of theoretical finals, analysis of games by the great masters, consolidation of the student's repertoire of openings, analysis of his/her own games to identify his/her strengths and weaknesses, etc. Throughout the session, students will be asked lots of questions so that they can be active and make maximum progress.
- At the end of a lesson: if they wish, I send them the PGN files of the openings and parts we've studied, as well as the positions we've worked on, so that they can review them on their own, and if the student is very motivated, I can give them exercises to do from one session to the next.
- PS: For my pupils aged 8 to 13, I offer a feedbabk (assessment) every month or so to review the child's progress with the parents.
- Bonus: during tournaments, I'll be on hand if the student needs advice, or if they want to prepare against a particular opponent... the aim being to support them throughout their progress.

My new challenges
As a player, I'm training very intensively for the next few competitions, with the aim of achieving the standards and the title of International Master in 2024 and then, if all goes well, I'm aiming for the title of Grand Master in 2025.
